Laurent Lebon will speak at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art.

The Centre Pompidou Metz, designed by Japanese designed by Shigeru Ban Architects (Japan) and Jean de Gastines Architectes (France) is the first contemporary art museum constructed in France in the 21st century. The establishment exemplifies the current cultural decentralization in France, which aims at developing cultural establishments outside of Paris. It also makes more widely available the collection from the Musée National d’Art Moderne’s (MNAM - Europe’s largest collection of modern and contemporary art).

Laurent Le Bon, originally from Paris, now splits his time between the French Capital and the city of Metz, located in the northeastern region of France, the Lorraine. While in Atlanta, Laurent Le Bon will share his vision for the Centre Pompidou Metz while engaging in conversations and exchanges with the art community of Atlanta.
