Atlanta Public Art Festival Once Again to Highlight French Ties

A yearly public art festival downtown is once again bringing French flair as it aims to raise the city’s artistic fluency and make a statement about its varying identities. 

The Elevate recently launched seasonal events but hosts its biggest forum each fall. This year’s series will attract artists from France, including some from Atlanta’s sister city of Toulouse, to join its wide-ranging cast of performers and participants. This year’s theme is “Microcosm,” which explores downtown Atlanta’s fluid identities and thorny social issues through paintings, photography, dialogues and other installations, mainly held on Broad Street
