The impact of the COVID-19 crisis on food consumption and food purchase habits: Short-term and long-term impacts

Watch the webinar replay

The French Foreign Trade Advisors for the U.S. Southeast are hosting a series of webinars on major transatlantic trends, showcasing experts from both France and the United States.

A recent survey showed that more than 8 in 10 Americans have experienced some change in their habits surrounding eating and food preparation as a consequence of the COVID-19 health and economic crisis. We’ve witnessed competing and complimentary trends including an increase in at-home cooking and food-delivery services, as well as an increase in both snacking and healthy food consumption. A panel of experts and professionals from the food industry representing all segments of the food chain, and from both sides of the Atlantic, will debate to determine if these changes are structural or will be short-lived.

Panelists:
– Moderator: Bruno Jactel, Founder and CEO, Pert!nent
Didier Arnaud, Owner, Epicurean Food – COO, Monarch Beverage
François Léger, President and CEO, FPL Food
David Maloni, Executive Vice President Analytics, ArrowStream
